"For over 20 years “Like a Good Neighbor” Todd Young and State Farm have served our family with business, home, liability, annuity, and auto insurance. And that “Good Neighbor” spirit was incredibly reinforced this week. I had a minor car accident that was my fault. When I called State Farm claims they encouraged me to choose one of their “Select” body repair shops in my area, explaining that they would make all the arrangements right then, hassle free. I declined because I wanted a specific body shop that happened not to be on the “Select” list. I figured I would need to get two estimates, mail them to the adjuster, and have the adjuster inspect the car to get repairs approved. I was expecting a 3-4 week process before I could even begin to get my car scheduled into the shop. I was so wrong! Instead, I received a text from State Farm with a Photo Estimate Tool that guided me through a series of pictures to take with my phone of the car’s damage. Within minutes of texting the pictures I got this reply: “We’ll send an estimate and payment to you within 48 hours” with an explanation of how to set up digital pay. Come on! An estimate and payment in 48 hours? I was skeptical. But in less than 24 hours I had the estimate that my body shop accepted! And, within another 24 hours the money was deposited into my bank account! I’ve come to believe the slogan, “Like a Good Neighbor State Farm is There” is not just a slogan to Todd Young and State Farm, it’s a reality. "They've been extremely helpful with everything. From helping me get my insurance in order after the death of my husband to providing me a service called Ting, this service detected anomalies with the electrical in my home. After working with Ting and my electric company we were able to stabilize it and prevent any further brown outs and possible fire hazard. Todd's office is always a phone call away and does what they can to do right. I'm very appreciative of their service. The human touch is that added bonus."

"Most recently, I called Todd's office to ask a question. Todd's was not available but his staff, as always, was able to answer my question. Todd followed up with me the next day to make sure I was taken care of. I met Todd years ago during a personal transaction with Todd and his wife. As we worked closely on the project, I inquired as to Todd's profession. I was not looking for my insurance needs at the time but we met anyways to discuss my family's insurance needs. I decided Todd and State Farm were our obvious choice. Todd and his staff have always been able to assist and if they don't have an immediate answer, they will find out and quickly return to me with an answer. I have worked with quite a few insurance agents over the years and I highly recommend Todd Young's Agency and State Farm."

"If you’re looking for auto life or anything else check Todd Young’s office. I have Todd as my insurance agent for approximately 35 years. He always follows up with you about claims and gives great insight into what to do to help out. "Terrible experience office is rude and unhelpful charged for a month of insurance after I had switched companies and made it a hassle to get a refund at first I was just flat out told no and only got somewhere when I said I was going to contact State Farm’s escalation team and possible further action wasn’t told I’d get an email that I had to choose how to get my refund so it mails a check after 3 business days"

It is always best to contact the insurance company directly yourself when making a change of any kind. As we discussed, your new insurance company sent their cancellation letter to a Texas address, not to our agency. We were unaware of this until you called. Also, we did get the cancellation backdated to March 21, 2024, as you requested. We are reasonable people to work with, as you can see with all the many positive reviews on Google. Yours is an exception, which could have been avoided by contacting my office directly during regular business hours. You'll recall this is the way we first got connected when we insured your car on June 15, 2022. Thanks for your business these past 21 months. If we can be of future service, please don't hesitate to contact us here at our office. Our phone number is 330-753-2237. "
